Air cooling reduced the temperature of the cutting point in the helical milling of CFRP by 30% when compared with dry machining [66]. The resulting cutting temperature in the helical milling of Ti6Al4V (200 °C) is much lower than the phase transformation temperature of Ti6Al4V (985 °C) [31].
